Our name & values

A name rooted in heritage.
A commitment to you.

Personal service, guided by humility, honesty, and gratitude.

The name Tera Financial Services, Inc. reflects my Punjabi heritage and the values I bring to my work. In Punjabi, Tera (ਤੇਰਾ) means “your” or “yours”—a reminder that your business, your finances, and your goals are at the heart of my services.

The name also carries a deeper spiritual connection. The Punjabi word for thirteen, terā̃ (ਤੇਰਾਂ), echoes tera, meaning “yours.” In the Sikh tradition of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s “Tera, Tera” moment at Sultanpur Lodhi, he reached thirteen while weighing grain and continued repeating “Tera, Tera,” expressing devotion: “All is Yours, O Lord.”

For me, this connection is a reminder to serve with humility, honesty, and gratitude, and to care thoughtfully for the financial responsibilities entrusted to me.

A straightforward start

From catching up
to moving forward.

A clear scope, practical next steps, and a working relationship built around your needs.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Start with your story.

Discuss your business, current bookkeeping setup, outstanding work, and what you need help with.

02 / PLAN

Build a practical plan.

Review the records and agree on the scope, pricing, access, and information needed to begin.

03 / ORGANIZE

Put clarity into practice.

Work through the books, resolve questions together, and establish a routine for ongoing support.

A few things
you might be wondering.

Can you help if my books are behind?

Yes. Cleanup and catch-up work begins with a review of your records to understand the periods involved and the work required. The scope and pricing are agreed upon before work begins.

Do you work with nonprofits?

Yes. Tera provides bookkeeping support for nonprofit organizations, including transaction categorization, reconciliation, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping.

How much do services cost?

Pricing depends on your transaction volume, number of accounts, condition of the books, and ongoing needs. A review helps establish an appropriate project or monthly scope.

What should I have ready to get started?

Bring a list of your accounts, the date of your last completed reconciliation, your bookkeeping software details, and your main priorities. Do not include passwords or bank account numbers in an initial inquiry.
